This week’s DIY, we caught up with New York City vinyl toy designer Sucklord. He’s a very talented artist, as well as quite a funny character. His personality shines on through his work, and you’re definitely going to get a better look at his character within this DIY, read on about this talent toy designer.

THE SUPER SUCKLORD comes from Chinatown NYC, which is best known for Bootlegs, Dim Sum.

Back in the day, you thought of toys as magical items of self-expression and wonder. Today you see them as a shady racket and a dirty day job…

As a kid my favorite toy was Kenner Greedo.

My first ‘real’ job was never offered.

Your favorite designer toy by Onell Design is The Glyos System.

I choose to work with toys because God left me no choice.

The best blank platform to work on is Star Wars figures.

The most exciting moment in your career so far has been actually making all my bills by living out my perverse madness (cast in resin).

SUCKADELIC is the most reprehensible designer/artist in the world.

I dislike it when people don’t get it / pay attention.

I love it when a plan comes together.

The thing that inspires me most is fortune and glory.

Star Wars has been most influential media on my art.

The most underrated designer / artist today is King Abnon.

If I wasn’t working in toys, I’d probably be producing pornographic films.

One thing most people don’t believe about me is that I keep my word.

When my fans read this questionnaire they will hopefully buy something.

All good ideas start with me thinking of them. Stopping them is the problem.

My ultimate professional assignment would be creating a feature film or TV series.

My day is not complete until I get high.

Filling out this DIY feature survey was very routine.
