This week, our DIY comes to you from the sunny state of California. European-born Shane Geil is best known for his Hello Maggot plush toy, Sperm plush toy, and Roast Chicken plush toy. He’s a wonderfully talented artist and plush toy designer, but he’s also a really cool guy to hang out with. Read further to see what he said in our DIY feature.
Shane Geil comes from Keil, Denmark which is best known for being the happiest people on Earth.
Back in the day, I thought of toys as little friends; today I see them as reminders that life is good.
As a kid my favourite toy was Snoopy and my Shogun Robots, one for snuggling and one for fighting.
My first real job was designing dishes.

I choose to work with toys because there are few rules and it’s crazy fun.
